Youth Programs at the Library
We offer wide variety of programs for children, teens, and families. They are in a virtual format at this time.
Summer Family Story Time, Tuesdays, 10 AM. June 16 through August 4. on Facebook. Imagine your story this summer with songs, rhymes, and stories and classic fairy tales each week, great for the whole family.
Little Bears Story Time, Fridays at 10 AM June 19 through August 7 on Facebook. Join us on Facebook Live to share short stories, songs, rhymes, lap bounces, and fingerplays with children under 3 and their caregivers.
Take and Make Craft: Mondays June 15 through August 3. Pick up a craft kit from the library anytime on Mondays, and then join us for our weekly Wednesday craft along. A limited amount of supply kits will be available to each child in a family. We’ll also post the instructions and supply list on the library website calendar.
Craft Along on Wednesdays 1:30 PM each Wednesday June 17 through August 5 on Facebook. Children are encouraged to join us on Facebook Live to make a craft every Wednesday. Supplies and instructions will be listed on the library’s website calendar and website.
Family Activities: Each week June 15 through August 3 we will post a new set of activities like a scavenger hunt that families can do throughout the week.
Teen Virtual Play Along: Play Animal Crossing: New Horizons with us. Mondays at 1:30 PM June 15 through August 3. A dodo code will be provided before the meet up on the library’s Instagram page.
Teen Digital Escape Rooms: Each week from June 15 through August 3 there will be a new digital Escape Room for Teens. Check the calendar for the link to tackle this week’s challenge.

Regular Programs Youth:
Storytime Registration: Storytime registration begins Saturday, September 12, 2020. Patrons can register online, in person, or by calling the library.
Teen Advisory Board: the first Thursday of every month. 6-7:30 pm, 7th – 12th grade. Community Center Craft Room
Join a council of teens that create teen displays, decorate the library, and plan events for teens at the library. Earn community service hours every month for attending. Or come to hangout and enjoy some snacks. Teens should fill out a TAB application, found on the library website or at the reference desk.
Teen Hangout: Wednesdays 3-4:30 Teens grades 7-12 are invited to join us in the Senior Center Craft Room for activities and games each week during the school year.
Baby Bears select Fridays 10-10:30 am.
Drop in for short stories, songs, lap bounces, and playtime. This program offers early literacy fun for children under 2 years with a caregiver.
Families and Jammies select Thursdays 6:30-7:15 pm.
Drop in for stories, songs, and activities for the whole family. Wearing pajamas is welcomed!
